Below you will find information about your retreat day with details of what to bring/what to expect/ and a few pieces of information we need from you =)
A few things to consider as you are preparing for your retreat:
Try and schedule lighter days leading up to the retreat. Often times when people come off of a super busy schedule it takes longer to decompress and can make relaxing feel more challenging.
Try and get adequate sleep leading up to the retreat.
Set intentions: It's good to find the balance of being open to whatever this experience could potentially give you as well as have some personal intentions that you would like to focus on throughout the day.
Communicate with friends/family/work: Let them know you will be less available during the retreat day.
Ask for help: Think about what you need that will help you be less distracted during this time. Do you need to ask a friend to help with dinner for your family? Or delegate a task that would otherwise require your attention? Asking for help is ok and necessary at times. So go for it!

Our retreat team will help guide you to the right room when your appointment time is ready but a schedule is listed so you have an idea for what is happening when.
Arrival: You may arrive anytime between 9-9:30am. Please do not arrive sooner than 9am. The welcoming ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30am.
Location: The address of the Iron Bell is 16006 Aiken Road Louisville, KY 40245. If this is your first time to the Iron Bell consider following the detailed directions below:
Driving Directions From the Gene Snyder Freeway:
Northbound: Take the Old Henry Road exit and go RIGHT off the exit
Southbound: Take the Old Henry Road exit and go LEFT off the exit
-At the traffic light, take a RIGHT onto Bush Farm Road. Bush Farm becomes Aiken Road.
-Clock your miles once you turn onto Bush Farm. The driveway is exactly 1.1 miles on your right from turning onto Bush Farm.
Landmarks -You will pass Lake Forest Highlands on your Right ~ You will pass Beckley Station Road on your Right. The Iron Bell is your third right after passing Beckley Station. ~ There are two orange cones and a white mailbox that mark the driveway. ~ If you go around a long, wide curve you’ve just missed us.

What To Bring?
Yoga mat and pillows for meditation.
Consider bringing a journal, book, or anything you want to use in your solo time.
If you are utilizing the sauna, therapy pool or cold plunge bring a swimsuit or tank top/shorts. There is a shower onsite if needed.
Wear comfy/casual clothes.
Headphones.
